Timok Youth Center and Youth of JAZAS Zaječar, with the support of Institute for Public Health “Timok” Zaječar, have organized Candlelight Memorial Day on Sunday, May 19th on City Square in Zaječar. The annual AIDS Candlelight Memorial is now held on International Remembrance Day, which is on the 3rd Sunday of May each year.

May 8th 2013 marked the official beginning of the project entitled Eyouthocracy, which was co-financed by the European Commission and Youth in Action program. Eyouthocracy is implemented by Asociatia Act Integration – Drobeta Turnu Severin from Romania, in partnership with Timok Youth Center. Project goal is development of solidarity and tolerance among young people, as well as nurture of mutual understanding and multiethnic dialogue.

As a part of the E761 program, Timok Youth Center organized exhibit entitled “The New New Wave/Youth Activism and Pop Culture - 30 Years later (1983 - 2013)”, in the period from March 22th to March 31th 2013. The venues included Radul-Beg Konak and Youth Center Zaječar.

Timok Youth Center, in cooperation with B92 Fund, Save the Children International and OAK Foundation, has organized 10th annual campaign for Safe Internet Day under the slogan “Connect with Respect”, on February 7th 2013 at the auditorium of Elementary Music School in Zaječar. The aim was promotion of safer and responsible use of online technologies and mobile Internet, especially among children and young people.
